Received a letter from Santander giving payoff amount on my Ford truck that was good to a certain date. Sent a payment for total amount certified mail, that was received the date of letter offer. I recieved a call a week later wanting my monthly payment and representative said he showed no payoff payment. I then recieved a call from Santander the next day that said we had overpayed and should recieve a refund of approx. $380.00. Today I recieved a letter stating they had recieved our payoff payment, but were sorry to say we still owed another $14.52! This loan was originally a Citi Bank loan but was transferred to Santander.
