I recieved a letter from CAMCO Feb. 20th this year. To notify me of an account from Wells Fargo that had been purchased by CAMCO from MIDLAND ACQUISITION CO. Stated I owed $868. Plus interest that may vary day to day. I called and spoke to a man by the name of 'John Kilroy' He knew my SS#! My ex-wifes remarried name and several of her former addresses. He also stated that payments were made to this account from some of her former addresses but the payments had stopped. The payments had stopped in 1983,21years ago!!!
'John Kilroy' told me the outstanding debt was mine... And could clear the Bill by paying $365. I declined, he said: " think about it"... He'd give me 2 days before turning the negative report to the credit bureaus.By trying to find sCAMCO's web page I found usacomplaints.com I've found a lot of useful information here, I plan to use all methods that I can to bring these criminal mildewed pus-bags down! How dare they prey on people like this. If there are over 370 reports on this site just imagine how many are not reported. Thanks for all the good information!
