This Is Actually The regulation in Tx:

Sec. 339.001. Imposition of surcharge for use of charge card. (a) In a purchase of products or providers, a might not enforce a surcharge on the customer who runs on the charge card for an expansion of credit in the place of money, a check, or perhaps a comparable way of cost.

(b) This area doesn't affect a situation company, region, regional governmental organization, or other governmental entity that allows a charge card for that cost of costs, taxes, or additional costs.

(d) The Fund Fee of Arizona will have special legislation to impose and follow guidelines concerning this area. Reversed by Acts 1999,76th Leg., ch. 62, Sec. 7.18 (a), eff. Sept. 1,1999.

Reversed by:

Works 79th Leg., Ch. 1018, Sec. 2.15, eff. June 1.

In overview of the required transaction record, by my count, they owe me over $300, a lot more compared to $60 they're suggesting I take.

Should you reside in Arizona, of course if you receive a check, research your options and find out so just how many costs they will have struck you with. I intend to combat this minimal charge and need my cash back.
