I recieved a phone call from Premium Benefits in June advising me that I had been approved for $2000.00 credit card and also I would recieve help to re-build my credit. I said okay, and I was advised also that it would be a $249.00 fee. I asked if that is all I would need to spend, would there be anymore fees, I was told no.
The money was drafted, and the representative said I would be recieving a package by ground delivery, also an application should follow by regular mail with 2 weeks. All I would have to do is fill it out and send it back in and 5-10 days later I would be recieving my card. The representative said if I wanted to withdraw all $2000.00 out I could, I would just need to pay it back every month when my statement came.
I received the package in August, after calling 3 times about the status of it. I called to let Premium benefits know and they said my application should follow. I never received an application. Here it is 7 months later, I haven't recieved an application or credit card.
Each time I called a representative to check on status I would get excuses 1) maybe the address provided for you is incorrect... Supposedly changes were made, 2) we will send out another application... Supposedly sent out 5 different times, 3) use your cd rom provided in your package to apply online... The disc was blank, 4) use the booklet provided and call any of the banks on list to receive an application... I called one and they said they never heard of premium benefits. 5) their computers are down call later.
I am furious because I have been getting the run around for 7 months going on eight. I can't get a refund on my money. I don't have $249.00 to just give away. I have said to them several times to give me my $249.00 back or give me my credit card. Premium benefits hasn't done either or. I am outraged.
