This started when a construction co, double jack const of ph/az left open holes aprox 8 to 10 inches in diam and aprox 24 to 30 inches deep on our prop, they put no markers/cones or any other markers in place where the holes were. (they were not to do any work on this side of the fence, and their sub-contractor said they knew that) my daughter took our dog for a walk, as she does every night, and fell into one of the holes, and was hurt, to make things worse she was recovering from a wreck on an atv she had in dec/09 as a rider with her brother (she broke her back) so this didnt do her back any good at all, she went to the hospital, her doctor, and therapy. (she was in alot of pain and couldnt walk) we contacted double jack const the following day of the accedent, they were here and marked and covered the holes quik. At that time we were told it was 100% their fault and that they would contact their insurance co (state auto insurance) state autos rep was here in a short amount of time, and told us that this was a matter that would be taken care of swiftly, well, you do the math. March to aug is not swift, they do not return calls, was told this week i would have a call by joel of state auto fri the 8/2710 around 11:00 as a follow up, well guess what! One more no call (these guys are good at it) this is a regular for them, and this whole time they were leading double jack const co to think that they had been paying my daughters med bills, therapy, and compensation for lost wages. According to tod at double jack const. This is in no way a compaint against DOUBLE JACK CONST in ph/az, on a scale of 1 to 10 they have been a 10, other than they left holes where they shouldnt have been to start with. They have returned every call, and have called their insurance co on our behalf, and have been told (by state auto reps) we have got the ball rolling and they are satisfied. WE ARE NOT SATISFIED, state auto reps have failed to keep their word over and over... And this has went on way to long. If you have a claim of any kind with state auto insurance co, get an attorney from the start!!! As i am going to have to as well. Against their vocal wishes (as they have told me mr phelps, you dont want an attorney, they drag thing out, LOL.
