Hello, I am writing in regards to let you know I have been a recent victim of MWI Connections. Yesterday I was looking at my bank statement online, and saw a charge for $9.95. It had the company name and phone number listed.
I called the company, and talked to a customer service representative. The young lady said I ordered some coupon books from their company. She said I did it through Orbitz website. I told her I did no such thing. And if I did order their product, could she give me the date and time of that order.
She couldnt give me the date or time I placed the order. I tried to get further detail about how this debit got charged to my account. As I began to ask questions, she couldnt answer any. She began to ask me about my current addresses and zip codes that Ive lived in. I gave her my old US Army address, but I knew that would be of no significance to her.
I asked to speak to a supervisor; she couldnt let me talk to him. I then asked her to cancel any current orders, or future debits from my account. She told me she couldnt do that unless I provided her with my debit card number. I asked to speak to a supervisor again, and she said HE couldnt cancel or refund any debits unless he had my debit card number.
I asked her how they didnt have my card number if theyre debiting my account. She couldnt answer any of my questions. I told her I would call back with the additional information she needed. (I did not)
Also, when I talked to the young lady, she said that she had no account information on me. She didn't have my name in her data base, and she couldn't give me an address to write that company becasue of that. I asked her how could they bill me with out me having an account with their company. She said that I have to be a member with some other company (ie. Travel, hotel, resort discount) for them to have debited my account.
I told her that I never authorized any debit from any company. She said that another company had to offer me a special deal, and I had to accept it for their company to charge me $9.95. I never accepted any deals or offers from any company.
The young lady I spoke to name is Nichole her ID number is 11202.
