Indymac Mortgage Services a division of West Bank and Balboa Insurance
Beware of Indymac

Due to the mistakes and forced insurance policy bankrupted me in September and they caused me to become unable to make my payments.indymac bought my mortgage in February of which included my taxes and homeowners insurance.in September I received a bill for my homeowners insurance and sent it to Indymac only to receive a cancellation notice on my insurance. I then called Indymac and explained the situation my mortgage included taxes and insurance. Upon looking up my information I was told that they were sorry for the problem which was fixed but my mortgage was increased by $128.42 a month. I said ok following this I received a letter from Indymac stating we are sorry for this mistake but a check was sent out to the insurance from my escrow. Only to find in the future that it was not sent out for a week after the date they told me they did. Everything seemed alright until a bolt of lightning struck my garage burning it to the ground including all my contents. I called the insurance company only to find out that I had no insurance. I then called Indymac they said they had paid it and immediately placed a forced policy on my property at a cost of $3500. And covering just the minimum and no personal property. Then they increased my mortgage by $500 a month. When I asked about the $1,517 they had paid on my policy and how do I get it back they (Indymac) told me that was my problem not theirs. After a year of fighting with Indymac and Balboa (which is the insurance co) I received approx $9100 as a 1/3 payment so I was able to take down and start the rebuilding of the garage. Which is not enough which had to be done. As of now they still hold $18000 of the remaining monies and keep saying that it will be put toward the mortgage. One year later they are still collecting the interest on the money. I had to take cash advances on my credit card to help me make my payments and now Im stuck paying high interest charges on my credit cards and I am unable to pay my mortgage. The only thing that Indymac and Balboa did to help my situtation is put a forced insurance policy for non-payment for something they should of paid. When back dating this forced policy why just couldnt include what was in the policy instead of charging double the cost and half the coverage. I have al the information documented I am now going into forclosure now the big companies Indymac/Balboa and their lawyers Harmon Law Offices PC are getting fat off another sucker. Thank you: PS: I would still like know how you can take out a policy after the fire and date it back 8 months. I call that Fraud but it must be ok for big money...
