I would never do business with Midland National Life (whose parent company is Sammon's Financial Group). Their history regarding their insurance sales practices concerns me greatly, and I am looking elsewhere to make my purchase.
The main office for Midland National Life is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but in addition to a recent local lawsuit, their have been additional lawsuits filed against them.
In 2007 in Minnesota, the State Attorney General's Office filed against Midland National Life Insurance Company, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, alleging the company was making inappropriate long-term annuity sales to seniors. Ripping off our senior citizens?!? How shameful.in Dec Midland National Life Insurance Company agreed to pay back those customers.
There have been similar class action lawsuits filed against them in California, Iowa, Hawaii, and Rhode Island. They have been fined in Arizona twice as well. You can see these lawsuits at: www.midland-national-life-review.com.
In my opinion, Midland National Life is ripping people like you and I off (as supported by the lawsuits) and should not be allowed to continue doing so. Take or move your business to a more reputable company.
