I have already vented in another post. I too have gone through what the rest of you are going through!
But I have little time, and little money to be dealing with this crap so Im gonna play it smart.
I have already contacted and filed complaints with:
1) the Better Business Bureau (www.betterbusinessbureau.com)
2) the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc. Gov)
I also contacted the:
3) Attorney General's office of Oregon and filed my complaint.
I would urge you all to do the same, very soon!
I agree with another person who posted on this web site, that the more of us who file official complaints, the faster we may get some help.
Also, if you do send a message or complaint to FCNB by mail, make sure to have the mail "certified". That way the United States Postal Service (www.usps.com) also has a record that you sent the mail. The post office will keep a permanent record of the date you sent the mail, and they can also record when FCNB actually gets the mail. That way FCNB can't claim that you sent it late, or that they never received the mail.
In Tallahassee, Florida it cost me only $4.00 to mail a certified letter. I think its a small price to pay and is well worth it in the long run!
I have sent certified mail complaining to FCNB to the following addresses:
First Consumers National Bank
9310 SW Gemini Drive
Beaverton, OR 97078
Card Processing Center
PO Box 9204
Old Bethpage, NY 11804
First Consumers National Bank
PO Box 5811
Hicksville, NY 11802-5811
