Westlake financial westlake was harrassing my references, calling at 2-5 am eastern time, told my husband to "F" off, repo'd my car after they refinanced my loan without telling me

Hello. My husband and I got a car financed about 2 years ago through Westlake financial Services. Everything was great at first. After about a year and a half work slowed down for us, we worked for the same company, at that point I could only send them half payments every pay. I knew I was accruing late charges but there wasn't much I could do.

In the meantime they were calling all my references at very abnormal hours like 2am, 4 am asking how they could get a hold of me and was disclosing to them (3rd parties) how much money I owed them. I finally called Westlake and told them that those people were just references NOT co-signers and to leave them alone and quit harassing them. Of course that didn't work.

My husband talked to them on many occassions on the phone and one time was told "to go "F" himself". They have degraded my daughter when she answered the phone calling her a liar and saying that she knew where we were. We were at work, flagging traffic, all over PA... My daughter had no idea where we were or when we'd be home. Most of the time we have no idea where we're going to be working.

So around Christmas time 2008 I called Westlake and asked them if there was anything we could do to have a little lower payment because $350 a month was killing us at that time or if we could break up the payment so I could pay it out of 2 paychecks instead of one. Which basically all I wanted was a later due date, set for at the end of the month that way I could pay it out of 2 paychecks.

The "Supervisor" I supposedly talked to said not to worry he would take care of it and that he was sending me a paper that I was to sign and fax back to him. Not really looking at the paper, i signed it and sent it back. After I faxed it I looked and they refinanced my whole loan to lower my payment $30 whole dollars. So now i was back up to almost $9000.

About a month or 2 after they did that, they repo'd my car. The car sold for almost $5000 which means if they wouldn't have refinanced my loan, the stupid thing would be paid off right now. I refuse to pay them one more red cent and i will see them in court!
