In nov. 2008 we entered into a commercial real estate contract to purchase a condo. Complex in texas. I thought i had my financing in place. I was told by michael gordon of chicago capital management group that ken bozzi of excalibur commercial mortgage co. Of mount laurel, new jersey had a very liberal foreign lender.
We put up our $5000 underwriting fee and waited for the due dilligence period to pass. We endured delay after delay with the "world markets"being the cause we were told.in march the updates started saying any week now any week now then it was next week they will start to fundall the loans.
At the time that we were to recieve funding mr. Bozzi tells all that he was going out of town with wife (who is suffering from cancer) for treatments and would return in @2 weeks. This was the end of may my seller could wait no longer and would not give us a needed extention.
Bozzi abandoned his contractual duty, has refused to ever pickup the phone has not returned my $5000 under writing fee, failed to give me in writing a letter stating that they the "lender failed to produce" and has cost me $10,000 earnest money and cost me $4000 for an appraisal not to mention lost nine months of time..
I hold michael gordon of chicago capital management group at fault as well. I have contacted the new jeresy attorney generals office and the illinois attorney generals office as well. I have recieved contact information of another victim from who i believe is another innocent broker in this deal and i know there at least 28 other victims. I can't wait to get these guys in court has anybody else been taken by this vermin??
