My wife made a cash deposit at the local Chase Bank (formerly WAMU). The deposit appeared on our internet banking statement. Four days later, the deposit was reversed for some odd reason. My wife spent 2 weeks trying to find out what happened, then the deposit was credited to our account, after several overdraft fees were paid (by us, of course). My wife discontinued using the account. Two weeks later the deposit was again reversed, and an overdraft fee was again assigned. This looks like bank robbery in reverse to me. What is wrong with this picture? We will again fight for our deposit to be restored until the next time it disappears... And we continue to pay fees caused by this recurrent bank error.
