Walmart MoneyCard - Visa
I cannot get it activated

Our child and boy-in-law bought a Walmart Income Card (Credit) in November like a present to my partner and myself. The Walmart cashier didn't let them know the shop redeipt was required to be able to trigger the card. The bill was dumped and today I can't trigger the card.

To those at Walmart $50.00 may possibly not be significantly, but in my experience it's also much to discard.

The card was bought in a Walmart in Austin, Minnesota.

Please help me understand this card activated.
