After recieving a call from Global Financial on my cell phone, they record your comformation for them to take $221.95 from your bank account. You are promised a 100 gas rebate, money for groceries, a three day stay at pratically any major city, and a credit card to help you build credit.
They tell you that the $221.95 is the initial fee and that's all you will ever have to pay to them. There is no intrest on the credit card, annual fee, nothing. I even asked them theoretically if i were to use my credit card for something and not pay it off, then i would never be charged any intrest or anything? And they said that's right. I should have known then that this is a scam!
After giving them my savings account number to withdraw the $221.95, they thanked me and told me the stuff would be sent. Days later, I was online and looked up this "credit company" to see what exactly I was getting, and sure enough I ended up at this website. Reading about many others who also have been ripped off from this same company really upset me.
I am a college student and funds are not easy to come by. For these people to scam low income, unsuspecting citizens is rediculious. I have never been part of something like this before, and now I will definately be more aprehensive with other companies in the future.
I am curious to find out if there is a class-action suit against this company for decieving so many others. If there is such a suit, or if anything can be done to recover my lost funds, please let me know. Any lawyers out there??
