I am a former employee of this LLC company. They seek to employ young naive collectors with little to no experience. They train them for about 2 weeks, then slave drive them, use them up and then fire them.
This company hires felons, murderers, drug addicts, drug dealers, ex prostitutes, alcoholics, pedophiles and of course young naive honest teens fresh out of high school.
As an ex-employee I have seen drug dealing and drug use in their office.infact their managers are often the suppliers of illegal substances. Saw a man who was convicted of manslaughter attack a manager who out of fear made no complaint. I have seen sexual harrasment complaints squashed, and the victims of these complaints subjected to absolute alienation. The collectors are subjected to garnished commisions, forced 12 hour days. Anyone who demonstrates any type of honesty is looked at as suspicious while the criminals are treated like "family".
On the business side, I have witnessed collectors calling consumers claiming the agency is a law firm, claiming they themselves are attorneys. Of course few consumers believe this considering that most of their employees have limited vocabulary. They advocate incesant calling, "just don't leave a message" is their mantra. What they do is they review credit reports, select those who owe a debt but have available credit or property and bombard them with calls daily, sometimes even hourly.
This place is aweful to work for. And it's a shame that the owner of this company George Nelson III allows his offices to be run in this manner. But then, it seems that while he makes millions of dollars, he simply doesnt care about the consumers, nor his employees.
So again, Nelson Watson and Associates hires murderers, drug dealers, drug addicts and other unsavory types to deal with the publics social security numbers, banking information and credit profiles. Beware.
