Three days ago i wanted to buy somethig from an online merchant that only takes Visa cards. So I thought i would buy a simon malls gift account with my mastercard and send it to myself so I could make the purchase.
Good idea right, NO WRONG!
I bought the Visa gift account with my mastercard useing the same name, address and phone number for the purchaser and recipient-"me".
The same info registerd at my cards bank.
Simond malls withdrew my money but would not give me my gift account. I was flaged as fraudulent. Apparently I was attempting to "get this" I was attempting to STEAL MONEY FROM MYSELF!
I called simond malls verify, they passed it off to the credit card processor {Verisign} who intern passed it off back to simond malls.
Even though i was talking to them in person, they wanted me to start faxing them copys of my drivers licence and bank statement to make sure i was not trying to steal money from myself!
Simond malls was going to keep the money they withdrew from my mastercard untill they recieved a complant.
It is going to take 5 days for my card to be credited back.
I would suggest everyone stay away from this phoney
baloney company and there online incompetence.
