I have been with 5/3 Bank for several years. I had a savings account with them so when I would have the occasional overdraft it would just pull it out of my savings and charge me a $9 fee. Well I recently had to close my savings account because I could no longer afford to keep it open, and by doing this the true nature of 5/3 was revealed.
I now know that 1 overdraft can snowball into 100's of dollars in fees. I now see that I am being punished for temporally being a have not. This intelligent "automatic system" holds the largest withdrawal so then can charge you separate fees on the smaller withdrawals.
It's 1 thing to be ripped off by an individual I can fight but a large corporation ripping off the small people is truly saddening. I'm not even angry anymore. I am just sad to know how many people there are like me who have fallen on hard times and can have a 10 mistake turn into a $300 catastrophe
Don't do business with 5/3 bank.
