Lorenzo Hills of ECCF is a fee chaser and does not respond or perform to earn money

I do not recommend any commercial brokers do business with Lorenzo Hills or East Coast Commercial Finance. He is a fee chaser who will not perform or earn the due diligence fee he demands up front. If you do, you and your client will regret it!

This company is a one man show. He is the only person that works there. ECCF claims to be a direct lender but believe he is "just a glorified broker". Everything on his website is misleading. He does not respond in timely manner and will tell you anything to get the fee. He will tell you he can meet your timeframe if time is of the essence, but do not be deceived it is untrue.

Once he gets your clients money you will not hear from him until you call many many times and send many emails. He will promise to send you information that day and you will have to bug him for days to get anything out of him. Get all kinds of excuses. His operational mode appears to be to stonewall youm move slowly to aggrivate you and client or try to find a reason not to do the loan.

Again the goal is to ultimately take youur clients money by wearing you down by not answering calls or responding to emails in a timely manner. Does not perform any real work and wastes your time. He is very unprofessional and can't remember what he told you the last time and does not read anything you send him which becomes apparent when do get to communicate. He is a very poor communicator.

When you call you will almost always get a voice message and never a person or him. He hides behind email and avoids your phone calls. He is extreemly slow if he moves at all. He is a smooth talker until you pin him down and makes off the wall excuses and looks for ways to blame the client for not providing what he needs when he never provides what you need. Ask for a list of information required from your client and get it one request at a time spread over time if anything at all, more delaying tactics... He will promise anything to get the fee then mum is the word and non-performance. Do your homework! Do not take his word for anything.

If you look up the company on the NC SOS you will see that he is the only member of the firm. Dont call his office looking to speak with his manager because he is the manager, receptionist, janitor, loan officer and everything else! Run!!! Run!!! Run!!! I hope this is helpful to those out there that ever consider doing business with him. If this report only saves one broker and client from this fee chaser then my time to send this report has been well spent. Broker's Beware!!
