Freemont loan and investment are involved in a scams all over the country with attorney alan mason who is a sleeze lawyer taking money out of hard working peoples pockets. My husband and I called freemont and loan 2 years ago to refinance our house to lower our mortgage because my husband who at the time had lukemia and cancer and medical bills were mounting and we needed some help. We told them this and they used that information to cripple us financially. They sent someone and this attorney to our home with paperwork for us to sign. We ultimately took the deal that looked great on paper and would give us some of the financial freedom we needed at the time. They were very good swindelers which at the time we did not know. We told them all about my husbands illness and why we needed to do this. Things seemed to be looking up, while we were waiting for the arrival of the 40,000 dollars we were going to recieve from this deal my husband heard he was in remission and we were very happy. The check never came. My husband was in continuous contact with this attorney Mr. Mason. Who assured us everything was fine. One month goes by two months and so on. Finally we heard from the mortgage company that the check would be arriving in a few days. A few days goes by no check. My mortgage becomes due to the first mortgage holder so we call freemont loan and investment and they tell us everything is all set we should pay them not our old mortgage holder so we pay them. Come to find out we had 2 mortgaes totaling over 500,000 dollars because their attorney Mr. Mason took off with the money to pay off the first mortgage and the money that was due us. This continued for months with many phone calls to freemont and mr mason. They assured us everything would be taken care of it was just a mistake. We ended up having to get our own attorney and spent thousands of dollars destroyed both our credit histories and stuck with a ridiculous mortgage that we couldnt afford. The title company stepped in along with the FBI who had been looking for Mr Mason for various forgery and stealing deals, and paid off the first mortgage which we didnt want them to do. At this point we just wanted to keep our 1500.00 mortgage but now we were stuck with a $3000.00 mortgage. My husband who just wanted to make sure his family would be ok and could afford their home if something were to happen to him became sick again. The attorney Mr. Mason who is now in jail on 14 different counts of forgery and embeslement sits getting 3 meals a day while my family was going through hell. This past February my husband at the age of 50 died with the added stress for the past 2 years of this entire mess, knowing his family would probably loose the house because no one could help us. I left without my husband and a $3000.00 dollar mortgage. Freemont loan and Investment will not speak with me and as of yesterday I recieved a letter stating they sold my mortgage to another company. I have 4 children to support and probably wont have a home to live in. The money we did have had to go to the medical bills and funeral. I have letters from the Attornery General's office letting me know everything that goes on with Mr. Mason. I hope someone that reads this can help me get this company and this Mr Mason. They have destroyed our lives and in some way because of what they have done to us killed my husband. He was one of the strongest people everyone new and loved and mentally they took everything from him including his life.
