I am the Controller for a medical clinic here in Washington State, specifically in Lynnwood, WA. I just got contacted by the State of Washington asking me for a copy of all of the accounts that this organization should have. They stated that they believed that they are committing felonious crimes in the course of conducting their business.
I thought this was a joke or an upset employee until a State Investigator came by the office this morning in a State Vehicle. The State explained to me that this company has had over 40 complaints and requests for inquiry filed against them for collecting unpaid receivables and then keeping the money. They are using my company as a Guinna Pig as they are continuing their investigation. Unbelievable! They ought to be incarcerated.
