As part of the agreement in recieving an Imagine card, they are linked to your account to take out payments.
I have NEVER had a problem with them deducting $ from my account until recently. I noticed that it was taking a really long time for my payment to post to my account.
Finally I noticed that Imagine stated that my payment was returned. I called Imagine and they asked to verify my account.
For some reason they suddenly had the incorrect acct number! It was different from the number I had given them, the one they had always debited from and the one that showed on my acct page.
Because of the so-called returned payment I was charged $35 which then put me over my limit which caused a $25 overlimit fee.
I called the company and they REFUSED to reverse ANY fees! I called over and over and over and FINALLY got them to reverse the overlimit fee as a curtousy (not because of any error on their part)! They still would not return the $35 fee even after I got a statement from my bank stating that they did not have the correct bank account number and that is why the payment was refused.
I decided to just give up and let them charge me $35 for their error...
Today I pulled my credit report and saw that my acct was listed as CLOSED!!!
I once again called Imagine and they stated that the returned payment was why the account was closed and I could reapply for the card in 7 months!!!
I have called them multiple times to have the card reinstated because the error was on thier end but they refuse! Rhey have even hung up on me multiple times!!!
