I had check advance with a company Zip Cash and had issues with my checking account and the money was able to be taken out. It was for $300. I gone through a lot of financial difficulties and was not able to pay for this amount at the time I was emailed about this debt. Five months later, the last week of November I received a call from Alliance Asset Management, Inc., telling me this amount had gone from Zip Cash has gone into collections by a lady's name Ogre and that if I did not pay $610.00 in full today this would go to Legal... I then asked to speak to someone else about this because Ogre??? Had gotten smart with me and talking to me in a way no one should be talked to.
I would not accept payment arrangements and told me it had to paid in full. After this attitude with this woman, she transferred me to Dan Dwyer. Mr. Dwyer understood my situation and was very pleasant with me and actually wanted to help me. He asked me how much I wanted to pay and I told that would be able to make a payment on the 15th of December and he submitted this request and it was denied. He then told me to call him back on December 5th or th 6th and he would submit another request in for me. He also stated that he had spoken to several peole in my situation who had been contacted for 5 or 6 months and was also told they needed to pay the balance in full or it was going to legal. The reason for waiting these many months to try and resolve these collections is to let the finance charges and late fees build up. I believe that this unfair. I borrowed $300 not $610.
Today on December 5th, I received another call from the same woman who called me at first, who was very smart. She told me that they were calling me back because I had agreed to make a payment on the 15th and she wanted to know how much I could pay. She did not saying anything about paying the balance in full at this time. She asked me how much I was able to pay. At this time, I am at work and am not able to speak to her and told her that I am at work and would have to call her back later. She slammed the phone in my ear.
I called Alliance back when I was able to step away from the office and spoke to another woman, I cannot remember her name. She started going off on me and told me that I needed to pay the full amount of $610 today or it was going to legal. She talked to me like a piece of trash and was judging me and making very rude comments to me. I told her she cannot judge someone like that you are not supposed to treat people like that. She said I should have paid my loan when it was due and I asked her about the amount and in a rude way she told me I should have read the contract. She also made a comment that she bets I enjoyed the money when it was loaned to me, so I should pay my debt. I know I owe $300 plus finace charges, but not $610. That lady also slammed the phone in my ear. T then called back and asked to speak to manager and I wanted to let her know how her employees have treated me and she got rude with me and told me that as of today, my account has been stamped closeed and is on it's way to Legal unless she had $610 on her desk today. It is like one moment they want the amount paid in full, then I can make arrangements, and then told it must be paid in full.
My life as a Christian has taught me that you cannot judge people from their cirumstances and treat people the way they treated me. God forbid something happened to them and they borrow money and was not able to pay it on time because of frustrating circumstances and they have to deal with people like themself. It is very hurtful to have to deal with people who are supposed to be professional, treat people the way they do. Just because I owe the money does not give them right to judge me and talk to me like trash. They don't have to give up their morals and integrity to work in a collection agency.
Please help me resolve this situation. I am willing to pay the $300 plus finance charges.
