BANK OF AMERICA enables and allows a total scam like the one run by CP2pay.com to operate.
As a business traveler my bill can be a few pages. Called Bank of America about finally noticing odd changes for $20.95. They told me the CP2pay was a third party billing company and I couldn't dispute the charges, since they were on a monthly charge and I would need to call the billing company.
CP2PAY, 3 days over an hour wait each time, I finally spoke with a very pleasent person who told me the charges would be reversed and was sorry for the problem. She gave me a case number and said my next credit card statement would show a reversal. The charges were for presciption drugs I never recieved/ordered.
Silly me, I actually believed it. Next month charges are still there. No" reversal.
My real "beef" is with Bank of America handling of the situation!!!
Bank America will call you on that $1000.00 purchase but a well documented fraud cases for a mere $20.95 per month isn't worth their time.
To keep it short, my trying to get my credit card company, Bank of America,
to help with a blatant act of fraud has been totally unsatisfactory.
My last call with the Bank of America on this matter I was transfered 9 times and was on the phone for over 2 1/2 hours. You only have to take a second and GOOGLE CP2Pay and there are pages on it and it's fraudulant charges.
