Demand payment for something I didn't renew and don't want

I obtained a notice from National Credit Exam Company today, informing that I owed 39.97 for my membership to Activities for Windows. I'd a membership for this journal but used to donot restore it,? When Iam no further thinking about obtaining this journal. Why on the planet might somebody need cost for anything used to donot restore and do not need?

They contained in their observe that I had been simply to contact them-and to not contact Activities for Windows.in my opinion this is America and that I may contact whoever I decide to.
