CCS/CCA aka First National Card
You must read this! Very sneaky, ripoff business from hell

Wow, did I ever get taken. I wished that I would have been as smart as my fellow Americans, who checked this scam out before they got scamed.

My hats off to them... I was not so intelligent, but I feel now an obligation to share my mistakes with you, so that you can learn from them.

Please do not think that I am just a person that has nothing better to do with his time. I have been had, as you should plainly see.

It started like every one else... Got the letter in the mail that I had been approved... All I had to do was call and get activated for a $6,500 Credit line...

So. I called, originally for more information. I have to admit that it all sounded a little fishy, just from the standpoint that you could order only from "their catalogues which had hundreds of name brand products that I could choose from. She then asked me what I would be using my new card for. I told her specifically that I just wanted to rebuild my credit like I had read in the original letter that they sent me and that the only thing that I was interested in purchasing is a computer.

She then told me that I had made a great choice and that they had alot of computers to choose from.

Then I found out that to get my card activated it would cost me $249.00 plus $19.99 for rush delivery. After I caught my breath from shock, I was again reminded that it would help me rebuild my credit and that there was no APR and blah... Blah. Blah.

I wanted to talk to my wife about it before making a decision. Well... That's when the "deals" started flying. If you do it "now" we will raise your credit limit to $8,700... Or something like that.

I figured, well I need to rebuild my credit so I can buy a house. And I knew that I would have to "invest" some to repair my credit. Besides..."the $200 would be deferred after you spend the first $500."

Here's where they got me... I thought. I am going to buy a computer anyway with my new card... And it should be more than $500.. She said that they would apply the $200 to that purchase... What could I loose, right?

Accept that when I recieved my "catalog" it had one computer for sale in it! One!!! And it was a lousy one to boot! To top it off, all the other stuff/junk in the catalog was just that... JUNK!

Wait. It gets worse. My wife and I chalk it up as a bad experience and a lesson learned... Expensive one at that. So we cut up the card... We will not use it.

Today, I go to download my account information from my bank and I noticed TWO debits of $99.99 each from CCA. What is this!? Then I remembered that the lady told me that I would be getting a 30 day trial package for a "Extender and Protector Certificate" and a "Purchase Security Guard".

She was nice enough to tell me that if after the 30 days, I didn't want these packages, I would have to, in writing, tell them that I did not want these services.

If I didn't send this letter they would then bill it to my account automatically. But she did not tell me which account
they would take it out of and I assumed that it was out of my new found credit card.

If you think about it, what did I need a 30 day trial for? What was I going to be able to tell in 30 days! This was a diliberate, sneaky way of suckering you into spending even more money.

Over $500 later... I hope that you realize that this is an incredibly sneaky company. They have their butt covered from every angle legally... And I have been had... Yes I admit I made alot of mistakes in accepting this card, but I believe my biggest mistake was taking their word for it.

Please... Please... Do not take this card. It is a fraud. The scary part is, that up to this point it is legal!

I am currently trying to reverse the charges through the bank. My bank says that I might be able to get my money back, but not to hold my breath... I will update this when I get the report back.
