On August 1, I rec'd a call at work from Gordon from NCO stated they just rec'd my case from Amex. And I need to pay then today. Since the debt was outstanding since March. I asked him to confirm the date and again he said March. Which I know was incorrect. I asked him to please send me a letter verify the debt and what option I had. He said yes about first telling me If I paid $4000 today the debt would be settled.
August 9th I rec'd a call at home from a supervisor leaving a voice message say that weeks ago someone called about this account and would I please get back to him. I did and spoke to a someone who answer his phone. Told me Gordon was new and the information was incorrect. I ask again to the infromation in writing.
August 15 the supervisor called again and I spoke with him and was told he would have to look up the information I was looking for he could not sent a second letter. Which of course I did not rec'd until about the last phone call. He ask for my email address and I gave it to him rec'd the information the next day and he wanted payment that day. I told him I was with a debt collection company since November and his email back to me was will I have to wait years to get paid. I asked him to please stop calling me and direct all his call to the collection company
Again today August 20, I rec'd a call at home and at work from Gordan asking were we standing with the settlement. Please help it not that I am not trying to pay my debts I was out on family medical leave due to death in family and had to take a big pay cut at my job. At the same time.
