I direct the US program for a nonprofit called, Tr (REDACTED). We do have operations in the United States, although presently only in New York. Every day I get letters from across the country on behalf of the grant people asking for huge sums of money for the entrepreneurs who are there clients. They ask for $200,000, $500,000... Sometimes millions.
We give $500 to $1000 grants in key areas. The Grant People sends us random letters addressed "Sir or Madam". These letters will never lead to funding. What they do lead to is about $2500 to the Grant People which is what they charge their clients. Legal? Probably -as they in fact did send a letter to us on behalf of their client. Ethical - absolutely not & they have no intention of getting funds for their clients - it's a sham.
Nobody gives out $500,000 - and certainly not based on a poorly written letter by a company that has not done their research.
Buyer beware.
