The financial claims of United American are in my opinion pure fiction.in an email broadcast John Gore, VP claims first year earnings of $100,000. Won't happen.
When the manager "interviews" you they will claim first year earnings of $75,000 to $100,000. The problem is they never made that as first year agents and can't introduce you to anyone who did.
Ask the manager for a copy of their first year agent 1099. Won't happen.
In my opinion UA is all about "churn and burn". Of the thousands of people they interview and hire only a handful are even around after a few months.
Performance is not rewarded. Promotion is based on your ability to kiss the bosses behind not on your ability to sell.
Almost none of the managers were ever top sales people. Top salespeople are seldom promoted because the branch needs the numbers.
The scheme at UA is to do just enough and kiss enough butt to get promoted to Unit Manager and then Branch Manager.
Problem now is their are almost no local Branch slots so you will be moving. Oops, did they forget to tell you that.
They will also forget to mention that any residual you may have coming to you vanishes when you leave the company. They als don't like to discuss vesting. It takes 12-20 years to vest at UA.
The product? In FL the medicare product is $50 to $80 more than any other.
The underage health product is terrible as anyone you sell it to will soon tell you.
Believe little of what any UA manager tells you.
