I am not prone to write letters of complaint but Juniper has prompted me to take the time and make the effort.
I opened an account with Juniper (late October) and recieved a credit line of $3000. I used a cash advance of $600 and also purchased some items totaling about $1200. This was all done in the beginning of recieving the card. When I went to use the credit card again It was denied. I called the card company and was advised that the credit limit was reduced to $190. (from $3000) They indicated they didn't like the cash withdrawal done so quickly.
When I checked my credit score (fico) it was lowered in the last month. I was told one of the big reasons was the high percentage overage amount on this credit card. Ie: now $1200 owed on a credit line of $190. Now they are requiring me to pay the full amount due which I will be happy to do and cancel this card.in conclusion, I believe these practices should be brought to light so others can be informed and will be made aware of the way they handle their accounts and act accordingly.
