I received a letter from CCS that I was approved for a $6500 credit card. When I called to activate the card, there was a recording that said I was approved for a $9000 limit.
I gave them my bank information and they deducted $99 from my account before I ever received any information on what I was paying for.
After receiving the catalogs and information on my account, I found out that in order to purchase anything, I first had to pay 30% of my order up front, then the rest would be put on my credit card. My payments would be $300 a month.
I went to the internet to get some information on this company only to find out that I am not the first victim. I called them to cancel my account. I was on hold for about 35 minutes, explained that I wanted to cancel my account. Then I was told that I had to send a letter and that they should receive it a week prior to the billing cycle or I would be charged the yearly fee of $198.
