Well i "had" a Bank One account. But it was Sold to Chase Bank, i had a credit Limit of $5000.00 when bank one had the account they would never let it go past the credit limit of $5000.00 Because i made that Request. Now that chase had taken it over. They Let all my over charges from AOL And Block Buster Accumilate for serveral Months. Every month my account was past do cause they kept letting all the charges go through. So it was like 435.00 for over the credit limit fee. I call them and pleaded with them not to let the charges go through. After all its my account.
I told them to deny the Monthly charges as i would send aol and the other parties checks for what i owed them. But of course they wouldnt do that cause it wouldnt "Benefit" the bank. From the introductory price of 6% intrest they went and raised it 19%. Then when i couldnt make my payment on over the credit limit fee they would tag and additional $35.00 over the limit fee. On top of over the limit fee they would then Raise my intrest to and Astonoshing 33% intrest a month. So why would then stop the over the credit limit fee when they could make 3 times the Money off of me a month with a $35.00 fee and 33% intrest.
They were Putting me in a hole i could not get out off. I pleaded with them not to let the charges go through but nothing. They said they had to let it come through even though its my account and i told them i cant afford it and its causing me hardship and pushing me Toward Bankrubptcy. So i told them i wanted to close the account and they said sure no Problem. But we will still let the charges Through even if your account is closed.
So i threaten not to make any payments and file for chapter 13. Because i wasnt going to let them Rip me off. I rather have a chapter 13 and rebuild my credit then never to be able to Repay the credit card at that intrest rate of 33% and $35.00 fee every month cause i couldnt catch up to the monthly payment. Then then put me in a special prgram @ 6% intrest. And a payment of 59% a Month. Now i do a cridet Report and they give me a score of 9 which is the worst for none payment of minimum payment of 636 Dollars. And never told me for as long as iam on this program even if i pay them off on my Minumum that because i was on a 6% intrest Rate and $59.00 Month Plan for a year that they were going to report it to the credit agencies as being in collection for as long as iam on this program.
Chase are one of the most Greediest Comercial Banks in History. When they buy and account they take it over aggresivley and add lots of charges to your account and screw the living daylights out of you. If chase ever take over any or your accounts My Sugestion is to Close it Quickly. 20 years they have been screwing Milldle and Low Income People with there fees. Its time for Payback.
