I received a call from "Out of Area" that listed the telephone number 614-901-7769. When I answered, there was a recorded message on the line that asked me to wait for an important announcement. Since I am on the national do not call list, I did hold on the line to make sure my number was removed from their records.
I waited about 1 minute for someone to pick up. The woman on the other end of the line sounded like she was at a frat party and asked very loudly to speak to someone who used to have my telephone number. I told her that she could not speak to that person, and not to call back here as I am on the do not call list. She became belligerent and started yelling at me to speak to this person.
I told her that person does not have this number any more, but even if she did, I would not allow her to speak to her since she used an auto-dialer to call me and I am on the do not call list. She started screaming at the top of her voice that I should have said that the person didn't live there to start with instead of wasting her time.
She continued to scream and scream and scream at me. She was yelling so loudly and so rudely that I could not even make out what she was saying. I eventually hung up on her, because it was apparent that she was not going to let me request to be removed from their records.
I am very upset by this person's behaviour. I should not have to be subjected to harassment like this in my own home, and this company should be investigated.
