InHouseLender I was charge $1650 underwriting fee for 2nd loan which wasn't disclosed properly. Ripoff

After speaking with the president, I realized that resolution to my complaints were not his intention. My grievances with this organization are not something to be taken lightly. I felt like I was tricked, bullied and my situation was taken advantage of. I will make sure this goes further. I am not very happy with how this organization conducts business.

First, I will start on the performance of your associates Johanna, we were very clear and upfront with her including Kathleen and Linda at Lifetime Real Estate (our agent) about our situation. We specifically told her all about our company not being two years in business. She preceded by attempting to challenge and deceit thier underwriter. She fashioned a way to submit my application as an employee as oppose to employer even though we applied as two borrowers both officers of the corporation. She had me write all types of letters explaining the Las Vegas address discrepancies with full knowledge that that was Liberty Capital's Las Vegas address.

I was very skeptical of her ways. I felt that this was deceiving and could be construed as fraud, but she assured me that it would not be a problem and that this was a common practice. She proceeded with other options if in case it wasn't viable such as having a CPA write a letter.

I will be able to show you all her emails and our initial application. I have kept copies of all signed application.

The above complaints are just the tip of the iceberg. Furthermore, upon approval she provided us w / rates over the phone and that the prepayment penalty was for one year. After locking the rates, the rate was changed and the pre-payment changed. We all agreed that the pre-payment should have only been one year.
THe excuse why my rate went up was that the rate has gone up in the same day she verbally told us the rates.

THe president Alfred Hana contacted me not to resolve the problem but to give me answers why the charges was there and that it was justified. According to him they sent me a copy of the disclosure on the 3rd of March but returned back to them on the 21st of March. Yet no one attempted to inform me that the disclosure was returned and they let us move forward w / the loan. Escrow sent us a copy of all fee I saw the extra $1650.

When we asked why the charges was there he said that it was the underwriter's fee becuase i had done 2nd note w / them. Then at the very last minute of our conversation, he changed his story now telling me that it was charged to lower my 2nd note-like points fee—which wasnt the case at all. Not consisten on the story.

Up to this point I still haven't seen the disclosure. I signed docs w / the fee of $1650 and that if i were to have that removed my rate would go up. This was on the 24th of March when the escrow was closing on the 27th. Regarding pre-payment, that too would have gone up it that was reduced to one year which was the original agreement. They said that i shouldn't have signed docs if i had problems. Problems came after i signed docs becuase i didn't see any disclosures from escrow until after docs were signed.

Unethical business practice might be something this company do on continous basis that the world should know about. Who knows what else they do to trick their customer. As you know you can't trust BBB to resolve issues like this.
