Countrywide Full Spectrum Lending Division, Rolando Moreno, Patricia Silva, And Mario Aruz
Countrywide Full Spectrum Lending Division - Rolando Moreno - Patricia Silva - Mario Aruz Company and employees lied about appraiser, title company and builder holding up closing so that they could extort more money from me and my husband. Ripoff

When I first started working with Rolando Moreno at Countrywide full spectrum lending I felt he had our best interest in mind. This turned out not to be the case. He repeatedly lied about the hold up with the closing of our home blaming the appraiser, title company, and builder.

We were told we were going to close 30 September 05 thus only having to pay 1 day of per diem. It then changed to 04 October and he promised us he would do what it took to not have to pay more and possibly less or nothing in closing costs. 04 October he calls less than a hour before closing and says once again it has been moved to the 5th of October. The morning of the 5th an hour before clsoing he states can't close again today the title company needs 24 hours even though we can have the paperwork there by 1100 your scheduled closing but they won't do it.

When I called the title company the closing officer said Patricia Silva underwriter for Countrywide was supposed to have the documentation to them by 1100 yesterday and they knew we weren't closing today and that we should have been informed and that we were now scheduled for closing Thursday 06 October. The closing officer at the title company said if the Countrywide sent the paperwork to them by 1100 today (05 October) they would do the closing for us as long as the builder agreed which they did.

Needless to say when I called Countrywide they knew the paperwork wasn't going to reach the title company until 2:00 possibly 3:00 P.M. When I called to compalin to Patricia Silva they said she was on the line with someone else so I spoke with her manager Mario Aruz who told me she just got off the phone with the title company and that we had to wait for the next day to close because that was there policy.

When I told him that they have been repeatedly dropping the ball on this closing and that now we were told we had to pay an additional $1900 dollars in closing costs because they couldn't get it together he said there was nothing he could do. Meanwhile I am stuck rescheduling house hold delivery for the moving company for a 2nd time, reschedule new furniture delivery, and installation/setup of utilities.

I am appalled how they make you jump through hoops to get a loan and get even fax a few documents to where they need to be. I will pay the extra money but I will be seeking an attorney to get it back and I want everyone to know not to do business with Countrywide.
