My wife and I were in the process of buying a new house. We thought that getting a grant would definitely be beneficial, since we are young first time buyers. My wife saw something on the web advertising an aid in getting a grant for $19.99 one time fee. It was www.grantprofessor.com. It also stated that if you weren't satisfied you could request a refund in 30 days. That seemed acceptable to me, so I told my wife to go through with it.
My wife attempted to order the product, but everytime she tried to submit the order, a message popped up saying that the credit card number was invalid and to try to re-enter the card number. So she did. She did this a few times and still got the same message. Frustrated, she finally gave up and said screw it.
A couple of days later I went online to check my bank account balance, only to see that Grant Professor had charged me SIX times for a service or product we never received. I called Grant Professor customer service and they assured me that money would be refunded back to my account in 15 days.
A month later still no refund, but instead, there was a new charge from Grant Professor of $29.95. I called them again, and again they reassured me that not only would they refund the original amount but also the new charge. Two weeks later we got our refund.
A week after we received our refund, another $29.95 was taken out of our bank account. Now remember we never received this product or officially signed up to be a member. Another call was placed to Grant Professor. "Sorry we don't have your information in our database.in order to receive your refund we need you to fax us your bank statement, " was the reply I received.
There was no way in hell I was going to fax over my bank statement to these people. I told them you charged my bank account, I have to be in your system. They finally found me in their "system". Two weeks later I received my refund from that.
I can't believe how much money was taken out of my BANK ACCOUNT and the time it took to replace these funds. I never got any product just a waste of my time and effort, and money fraudulently being taken out my bank account. Do not trust these bastards! BEWARE!
