I too was recently hooked up to these crooks through Net Detective. They charged me $29.95 for a credit card I never received; so I cancelled my membership. They have since charged my debit card a total of $95.00 for the credit repairs, which is legalized robbery. What they charge these outrageous fees to do, you can do yourself if you just want to take the time.
All you have to do is just order your credit reports from the three major credit reporting agencies and dispute the derogatory information. The credit bureau then notifies the creditor who reported the information that you dispute it. If the creditor doesn't respond at all, the credit bureau must remove the derogatory report.
However, if the report is substantiated, it cannot be removed. You can do all of this yourself. It only takes a little of your time. I've called my bank and cancelled my debit card and ordered a new card with a new number so these crooks can't steal any more of my money.
