I have made every payment by phone 2 weeks in advance. This last payment I made in October around the 22nd for my November payment. This is when I started having trouble.
I received a tracking number everything seemed OK.
2 weeks after my due date (4 weeks after I made the payment) I receive a call Sunday night saying I have not made a payment. I asked why I money was not taken out of my account. The response I got was I see where we added the $6. (Plus) fee for using the automated system but reversed the charges. You must have typed something wrong while using the system. Do you plan on making a payment now? I said. NO there is no way I can verify I cave enough money in my account at the moment. Then she said do you realize there is a $12 a DAY late fee being added to you balance.
There is automated system is deceitful itself. The menu for your last payment made gives you the DAY of the week you made the payment NOT THE MONTH. If you make the payment the same day every month, you'll never realize something is wrong until it is too late.
So on top of 17.5% interest rate they are charging me they have added over $200 in late fees, and will probably show up on my credit as a late payment, because their unethical, deceitful and criminal practice. If there was something wrong with my payment, they had plenty of time to contact me before the payment was due.
