My husband got the call. Totally fell for their offer of a credit card with 8,000 dollars as a credit limit. I began to research them. First I called them and got their answering machine that states that they are too busy to take my call and I could leave a message. Well I didn't leave a message. But I did get their name and website address. Which this is where I found out about consumer complaintss.
Well my husband had authorized the 99.95 to be electronically withdrawn from our account. I then called our bank and stopped payment. And because they have the routing number from the check the bank said that they can withdrawal more money. Oh no they can't now because i closed our bank account. I then called and left a message on their machine and told them about the people that they have ripped off due to there misleading information. And let them know that they would not be receiving the 99.95 from me because I stopped the check and closed the account.
Lesson learned: research a company before giving them your account information. Also the fraud department told me that if you give them your account infromation it is not fraud.
