I opened a merchant account through Kevin Pankow aka, EMS North America, Cardsync Processing, cardsyncusa.net and Central Merchant Services He said that I could only open an account if I leased a card machine. So I did, not thinking that I had a choice in the matter. The lease was for $47.00 per month for 4yrs. That's $2256, later I found out that the machine was worth just $229 refurbished and $281 new.

When I contacted the leasing company about ending the contract I learned several things. First I was told that he had already received $1492.06 in advance from the leasing company for the contract and that the deal was supposed to include: a merchant account, a five page website, and a domain name registration. Then I received a bill from Cardsync demanding $89.00 as an annual fee.
The leasing company said that they would not let me out of the contract. When I contacted Mr. Pankow about this, he refused to discuss it with me, he said that if I tried to sue him that he would spend me into the poor house, and then smoke a fat cigar in my living room! All of this and I never did use the machine or the merchant account!
I have done a lot of research on Mr. Pankow and his companies since that time; I will share this with you now.
EMS North America was registered in Florida as a sole proprietorship; Cardsync Processing Inc. Is registered as a corporation in Delaware as is Central Merchant Services. Cardsync was registered in Florida as a foreign corporation in 2002 only, and is not currently active. Central Merchant Services was not registered with the state of Florida at all.
Central Merchant Services was incorporated in Delaware on 02/18 file # 3766061.
Central Merchant Services local office phone in Haines City is 863-422-5210 (for toll free put an 866 instead of 863) the office manager is Richard Faust; the head of trouble shooting is Rick Bomse.

This man was a partner of his at one time. The man had applied for a credit card under his own name using the EMS address (read Kevin's home address). I leave it to you to figure out what happened.
