I bought 3 Kim Alessi white-gold rings decorated with red tourmaline rocks to become used loaded. After just being used several times, the bands dropped many rocks. I 1st attempted to get hold of the organization through their site but, rec'd no reaction. I subsequently named & was recommended to come back the bands for fix and/or alternative, that we did. Many weeks passed before I noticed from their store - I had been subsequently informed the rings weren't repairable & given that they were no further dealing with the organization that makes the bands, there is "nothing they might do". I responded the bands had just been used several times & not under severe conditions & when they might shed rocks therefore quickly, there is obviously a problem using the style and/or quality of the band. Under these conditions, I sensed that I ought to obtain atleast a partial reimbursement or substitutes. They declined. Really frustrating
Then, in the end that happened (above), Kim Alessi did not return my bands in my experience. On 1.21.08, I delivered a professional notice seeking their return. More than 1 month later, I Would rec'd no reaction & at that time, I approached the Greater Business Office. Kim Alessi eventually responded towards the BBB showing they wouldn't return my home until I delivered them more money for "delivery & handling"! They further suggested they could be "destroying the bands" easily did not deliver them the cash by 6.1.08. Therefore, today they've my cash (over $320.00) and also the bands & need me to deliver them MUCH MORE money to possess MY VERY OWN home delivered?
I guess it willnot be astonishing that the business with such sub standard items & horrible customer support cannot afford to invest 41 dollars to come back home to some client they scammed for over $300.
They were NOT promoted as costume jewelry & it's sensible to think they'd keep going longer than several wearings - I've bands I Have used every single day FOR A LONG TIME that never-lost a rock. To pay for this sort of cash simply to ask them to break apart a short while later is just a shame. Worse, to truly have the organization therefore totally decline any kind of payment is terrible.
Don't allow the same occur to you! Save your valuable cash!
