Most rawhides made in other countries

I do want to understand why I really couldnot find any rawhide chews for my puppy which were produced in US. Many were produced in China! Our puppy wont get something that is created in China! From the period a recall is out, it'll be too late after they have eaten whichever poisen China has chose to place in their foods.
