My husband and I purchased our beautiful home in July. We have had the mortgage holder change a few other times with no problems. Not any big deal.
We pay the bill and live in the house. That's how it goes, right? Except nothing is getting withdrawn from my account for the check I wrote to Midland Mortgage. I attempt to contact the company regarding this issue and can't find a human. The 1-800-552-3000 number that is given to contact their "Loan Counselors" seems to have no link to a person. The (405) number listed above is continually busy!
Then I receive a letter in the mail saying I did not pay last month and I will have to make another payment including $88.00 in late fees. Mind you, I will also have to put a stop payment on that other check I sent to them, at an approximate cost of $25.00, and pay to have a signature required for delivery. Oh wait, that's right, it's a PO box? I just want to pay my bill, and they are not letting me!!!
Then I go to look into this company and find all these other complaints all over the Internet.
There is no place where it says to call with Visa or MasterCard. Are you kidding me? 7-Eleven takes them.
