I have been overbilled by MCI since I signed up with them and I cannot get them to correct their mistakes, give me my refunds, or even give me the service I signed up for. If you try to call them you can wait at least 30 minutes to get someone in India who has a script they read from and doesn't understand the problem but promises you it will be resolved.
Next month you have the same problem. If you get a supervisor that speaks English (but has an attitude) and you tell her you are being charged for services you didn't want, don't have, and never used such as three way calling or a long distance plan charge when you don't make long distance calls, she tells you the person you talked to last month that promised they would take care of the problem didn't take care of it. But she will.
Then the next month you have those same charges and start all over again. It has become a never ending battle for me and I feel stupid for trying to resolve it for this long but they owe me money and I keep trying to believe the last person I talked to really wasn't lying to me. I have relatives and friends who have MCI and they also have the same problems.
I don't know anyone with MCI who doesn't have this problem. If you have MCI and you think it is ok, look closely at your bill. There are charges on there that you don't even know what they are. I, like a lot of others, just paid my bill for awhile till I found I was being overcharged about $20.00 per month. That started this battle to get my refund and be honestly billed for the service I agreed to. I think this is a common and lucrative practice for MCI to overbill and make money off of customers who don't know what they are paying for.
You cannot get thru to the company or get any satisfaction. They really don't care as long as they are getting their money.
