I purchase 2 HP Pavilion dv2700 computers less than two years ago. My one computer has a backlight that is burned out. I called HP for assistance and after an hour of struggling to understand the gentleman on the phone he transfered me to the hardware support division. I was informed at that time it would cost $495.00 to fix my computer that I paid nearly $2,000.00 for two years ago. I have struggled with issues on both of my systems as they have Vista as an operating system. I am frustrated and will not purchase an HP product again.
My other computer is also experiencing iissues as well. I am a single parent and my children use my laptop for homework. I have had difficulties having this computer integrate with my work email. Everytime I install an update I am unable to work on it. Help Please this is insane!
