I am so angry I do not know where to begin.
1st - Mega Health Insurance is nothing more than paying them to work for them! I have contacted them a number of times asking them who we could use in our area and there first response to me is "OH you can go anywhere and if they are not part of our network then you ask them if they want to join our network. Just have them call the number on the back of your card" So I signed up to be their SalesMan? I dont think so! I have a job and don't need another one especially with a company that operates as unproffessionally as they do.
2nd - Peter Arellano the broker who swindled me into this program is gutless, spinless, has no integrity. This piece of work sat down at my dinner table with my wife and I, looked at us in the eyes and said "The best part about this program is that if you find that this insurance isnt for you then you have 90 days... 90 DAYS (YES HE SAID IT TWICE) to cancel your policy and you will be refunded 100% of your money back".
I called today to cancel the insurance becasue we do not feel safe having this as our insuarnace and the first thing I asked the lady (LEANN, Nice Lady) after I told her I wanted to cancel was "I am still within my 90 days to cancel and be riembursed correct"? You know what she told me?"Sir where did you get 90 days from? You only had ten days from the starting date of the policy". I called Peter after I flipped my lid over the phone and asked him what kind of program he was selling and that he "LIED" to my wife and I telling us that we had 90 days.
I want his job and his Bosses job for false advertising! You dont walk into a familys house invited and lie to thier face to sell your product. I told Peter that there is one thing I do not mess around with and that is MY FAMILIES HEALTH!!! I have reported this insurance company to the California State Health Department and Department of Contracts and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau! They will not get away with this and I wont allow them to take advantage of another family as they have done with mine!
