I was contacted by telephone and directed to call my "prize director." I did so. He was "away from his desk" So, someone else responded to the message I left.
A woman, the assistant of the man, told me that she would send a confirmation e-mail; she did all the talking; asked for no personal information and sent the confirmation e-mail, it contained a unique prize code and directions to the prize distribution place, in town and it would take about 90 minutes to complete."
Tomorrow, 7-21/09, I am to report to the address and be prepared to drive home in a Lincoln Navigator or accept a check for its cash value instead; Take a cruise to the Bahamas; drive away with a flat screen TV (which I am responsible for making arrangements to transport); or 2500.00 in cash."
So, I searched the web and came up with a bunch of fraud reports on the same company.
I will not attend the 6:00 P.M. Rip-off meeting.
Thank you everyone. I learned from your mistakes.
