Approved to be rehired/then left out in the cold

In jan i was approved to be rehired by celadon. I was working for SRT at the time, i was ready to get back with a co. That had good matenance on there equipment. I use to work for celadon back in march an stayed w / them for a year. I had no problems, kept to myself, did there stupid tread 1 vidios, didnt mind running more miles that i got payed for, but left because of personal reasons. Ive been driving for 23years, so im not a spring chicken. I told a recruiter that i couldnt leave SRT until 02/06 or i would have to give back a $1000 sign on bonus. So in the 2nd week of jan09 i called Bo back, she approved me again. I gave SRT 2wks notice, I try to do things the rite way, but in this society anymore, especialy trucking, nobody seams to care. After sitting in the yrd for 3 days waiting to go into the shop, i was told to clean out the truck. I did. When i got home, with in a few days i called celadon up an Bo said sorry we cant hire u now, the company changed its policy. Well i was approved twice be for they changed there policy. I asked why didnt u call me an let me know, oh i did, nobody called, i have an answering machine at home, an a voice mail on my cell phone. So now im unemployed along w / thousands of other people in the big depresion of 2009. I found out that there was a stupid mistermeaner on my record threatening (cb argument w / a male chovanist pig) back in 2001. Big deal. So i obtained a lawyer to have this charged dismissed, to conform to there policy, they still craped on me. After this, i dont think of celadon as a good co. Ive read what other people wrote ;an the ignorant rebuttles of other people. If a co. Was good to you then fine, you dont put someone else down for telling there story. If u have an inteligent mind read between the lines, but its not rite to put someone else down. That why this trucking industry has gone to hell. Drivers cant stick together, theres no support. The bottom line is these big co, s have no respect for the drivers, an if anyone doesnt believe me, give yourself a few more years youll learn. I sure have, its getting worse.
