My stepson went to Costa Rica in April and made 4 calls home to NC from a phone in the lobby of the Los Suenos Marriott in Jaco. Three calls were less than 5 minutes and one call was 6 minutes. For these he was charged 179.78 USD! This is robbery! I found numerous sites complaining about these crooks and called them for a promised credit of 69 USD. Will see if it comes through.
Filed a report with the FCC and will be in touch with the NC and CA attorney general as well as the bank to dispute these. Will also call Marriott to ask why they allow this robbery to take place. We all need to complain to shut these crooks down!
