I was on my way back from my honeymoon in Maui, and the rude AA Airlines respresentative refused to allow time to tag our baggage and step aside. We quickly lost track of the baggage and then in Baltimore, one of the bags was not recovered.
We filed a claim with the rude claims assistant and then after almost 3 months of phone calls and dealing with rude people at central baggage, they sent a check for $275.00 to cover $1100.00 worth of property. The representatives at central baggage did not appear to be the least bit concerned about the situation and would not give out their names.
When I contacted headquarters about this, the only explanation I got from them was that I needed receipts to show the value of the property. Most of the property was purchased some time ago, and some of the property was given to me.
