My wife and family went on a camping trip to Utah arriving at Fish lake Utah 08/04/04. She tried to make a Collect phone call to inform me that she had arrived. She first tried my cell phone and got the voice mail, being that no one could except the charges the required our credit/dept card number to charge there was no mention of the amount of charges. She then tried our home number by calling collect and the answer machine picked up again and they required our card number again and again no mention of amount of charges.
On 08/09/04 while checking my bank account found 2 charges on my account in the amount of $30.42 for each call. These calls could not be more than a minute a piece. I called Sharenet Communication to have them explain these charges 08/10/04 and the said they needed to research and would get back to me within a week I said I need to know now this was in the morning. After I got home I called them back and they said a person called Candy would call me back. They called back not Candy and said they can't find record of transaction onder our card number, they research further and get back to me.
They are trying to tell me the charge my be so high because all the in between handleing from the pay phone service all the way to fees on my card.
